With increasing difficulty accessing the keyboard, Ryan sourced an interface with programmable macros. The X-Keys from http://www.ymouse.com/xkeys/xkswi.php provided the ideal and cost effective solution. The X-Keys was coupled to a custom designed and built perspex and acrylic rod head switch which was mounted to the headrest of his chair, placing the keys just millimeters from his temples.

The Head Switch is pictured below:-




The following pic was taken from directly above Ryan's head, to show the Head Switch attached to the headrest and in situ.



This has worked wonders and has provided Ryan with a significant degree of independance in use of his computer.
